In•vest•ment: n. 1. The act of investing; a property or possession acquired for future financial benefit and is related to saving or deferring consumption. Investing is the active redirecting of resources from being consumed today so that they may create benefits in the future.

If you are reading this page, clearly you have an ambition to make money, but perhaps something greater is your goal. Certainly, you can put money into a C.D. at a bank, or purchase bonds or stocks in established, safe companies. You can also purchase real estate or vintage automobiles, rare coins, jewelry or precious metals. And, in time, these investments may grow to become valuable assets, when sold will net a profit.
